New “Twenty8k” Still

Thanks to Cre8tive Juice, we have a brand new still of Sally Weaver in Twenty8k. Chris Richmond, the Production Designer for the film, talks about disguising 3 Mills Studio as all the various sets required for the film, such as a hotel exterior which you can see below:

Rumours + Film Updates

Hey guys, I have recently spoken with Kaya’s reps about the films that have shown up on her IMDB lately. Kaya has been linked to play Lucinda Price in Fallen, and Thalia Grace in Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters. I can inform you all that both of these films are just rumours. Kaya is not attached to be in either of them. I’m sorry to disappoint you.

On a happier note, I can confirm that Kaya is playing the part of Zoey in Now Is Good. Zoey is Tessa’s best friend in the novel. Also, filming for this project will begin soon on July 4th.

Lastly, I have received word from Martin Carr, and he estimates that Twenty8k will now be released in Spring 2012.

Femalefirst have compiled a list of UK Actresses to Watch Out For in 2011, and they cite Kaya as a rising star alongside Saoirse Ronan, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, Juno Temple, Rosie Huntingdon Whiteley, and Carey Mulligan. Here’s what they had to say about Kaya:

Kaya Scodelario made her name starring in hit UK TV series Skins but it hasn’t taken long for movies to come calling.

Having already appeared in Clash of the Titans and Shank she is all set to star as Catherine Earnshaw and a new adaptation of Wuthering Heights.

She is currently filming Twenty8k, which also stars Parminder Nagra, and she has been linked to Invisible, which is set to be directed by Robert Cavanah.

Also, Martin Carr, the producer of Twenty8k, has just tweeted that filming for the production has officially wrapped.

In other news, Kaya reports that she has completed filming, and Pyro Magazine has revealed that the film will be released later this year and will feature a contemporary R&B and hip-hop soundtrack.
