First off, I was able to get hold of the Oct. 16th issue of The Sunday Times, and updated the scans, which you can check out in the gallery. Also, Company magazine has named Kaya one of their new style icons. Check below to read that they had to say:

To celebrate the release of Andrea Arnold’s radical adaptation of Wuthering Heights, Curzon Renoir cinema is hosting an exhibition of film stills and photos taken on the set by Agatha A. Nitecka. Those who purchase a ticket to see Wuthering Heights, will also be offered a free photoessay, which you can see below:

Furthermore, Total Film magazine has released a list of their 30 Hottest New Hollywood Actresses, and obviously, Kaya is among them. Here’s what they had to say:

The Actress: As a veteran of four series of teen drama Skins, Scodelario has got the teen tearaway routine down pat, a role she tapped into again for Brit drama Shank. Despite a blink-and-you’ll-miss-her part in Moon, and a slightly more substantial appearance in Clash Of The Titans, she’s yet to get her proper big break on the silver screen. However, that’s all about to change in the coming months…

Why So Hot? She’ll be playing the leading role of Catherine Earnshaw in upcoming period drama Wuthering Heights, directed by BAFTA and Oscar-winner Andrea Arnold. With the film already winning rave reviews, it’s a performance that should set her down the same path as fellow Skins alumni Nicholas Hoult and Dev Patel, with fully-fledged movie star status waiting at the end of it.

Digital Spy has uploaded some new interview segments with Kaya, where she discusses Wuthering Heights, the Skins movie, and Love Life. Also, Kaya will be featured on Episode 14 of Film 2011 with Claudia Winkleman, which will air tonight at 23:20 and 23:50 and on Monday at 1:15, all on BBC One. “Wuthering Heights” at TIFF

Sorry, I would’ve had this up sooner, but I needed to buy a new computer :( So I got the chance to see Wuthering Heights today, and it was quite beautiful. I also really enjoyed Kaya’s performance, and I’ll be writing a review on here later. Andrea Arnold did a Q&A afterward, and it was pretty cool listening to her talk about her vision of the film, such as the aspect ratio, why she chose to use young and older actors, and cast nonprofessional actors. I have found a video from the Q&A on Friday night and you can watch below:

I’m sure you will be pleased to know that these are, in fact, Cathy’s feet. In one scene, she is sitting on a chair with her legs hung over the armrest.

Also, Wuthering Heights has picked up its first award. Robbie Ryan picked up the Osella for the Best Cinematography award for the film at the Venice Film Festival. He definitely deserves it.
